February Is Violence Prevention Month 2016

Starting this month there will be a number of Presentation and activities for Violence Prevention Month.
-In our local newspaper paper for the next 6 weeks there will be ads on abuse and resources.
-3000.00 Placemats will be given out to local restaurant in the region on stats and emergency numbers.
-Feb 4,24,& 25 Kevin O'shea from Public Legal information will be out to our local schools to present on bullying and your legal rights.
-Feb 25, Kevin o'shea will be out to present to our local seniors.
-Feb 8,ERCAV will be at college of North Atlantic to do a session on Respect Aging to the PCA students.
-Feb 24, ERCAV will partner with the schools in region on Stand Up Day Activities.
-Feb 10,12 & 24 ERCAV will be at these schools to provide sessions on Bullying/Healthy Friendships/Healthy Relationships/Consent/Positive Thinking.
Feb 22/23 Micheal Gaultois who is a motivational speaker will be at local schools to speak on life Choices.
