About Us

We are a non-profit, volunteer committee, made up of individuals from both government and community, that meets regularly in the Clarenville-Bonavista area of Newfoundland to discuss issues relating to violence.

Our Mission

Violence Prevention East is dedicated to raising public awareness on the issue of violence and working to ensuring that victims of violence receive fair and equal access to much needed support services.

Our Goals

To improve coordination between government departments and community groups with violence prevention mandates.

To enhance the capacity of community and government to coordinate and promote violence prevention.

Our Members & Partners

At Violence Prevention East, we know that creating safer, more inclusive communities is not something we can do alone. Our partners play a vital role in helping us deliver meaningful education, outreach, and support across the Arnold’s Cove-Bonavista region. By working together, we strengthen our impact, share knowledge, and ensure our efforts reflect the diverse needs of the people we serve. We’re proud to collaborate with organizations and individuals who share our commitment to ending violence and promoting well-being for all.
